Full House at ORR / HRA seminars as Heritage Railways square up to the challenges of safety management.
30 April 2012. Having expressed concerns over safety management in UK Heritage Railways The office of the Rail Regulator looked to the Heritage Railway Association to lead on the issue. All Heritage Railways were asked to attend seminars where the law as it applies to heritage railways and the responsibility of the directors was clearly mapped out. The request from ORR was that each railway should be represented by the chairman, directors and general managers.

HRA to assist with correct disposal of Locomotive
Heritage Railway Association have been asked by Heritage Shunters Trust to assist in the disposal of their historic diesel locomotive “ROTHERHAM”, built in 1950, which is surplus to their requirements.
