Enough is Enough! - Are we managing our collections or just storing junk?

How much rolling stock is there on your railway ? Does it all “belong” ? Have you issues with vehicles which rather let the side down ? Tired engines and coaches which are all too visible to visitors. Sidings which are crammed full of  vehicles ? Perhaps even confusions over ownership ?  If you have any of these problems, here is a date for your diary - Tuesday 15th November 2011. On that day, HRA is holding a seminar on “collection review”. The location will be West Bromwich Albion’s modern stadium.  This will be an opportunity for those of us who are not museums to steal some of their ideas !
